Donna Becker is a holistic practitioner working with clients to overcome their health challenges by getting to the root of their symptoms. Donna is passionate about helping her clients to achieve the health and wellbeing that they deserve.
After graduating from Rutgers University and working in the field of Biochemistry, Donna began her journey into holistic health as a mom learning all that she could to help her own children overcome their sensory processing disabilities. Much of her research, time and energy was spent on understanding and implementing dietary strategies for healing the gut and its connection to brain function, and cognitive, sensory and social behaviors. Once her children were doing well in all areas of their lives and it was clear that her work had paid off, Donna continued her passion for health by helping others to address the underlying causes of their health issues, getting well instead of ending up with more drugs, more complications and never getting to the root of the problem.
In 2012, Donna studied nutrition and holistic wellness and became certified as a Holistic Wellness Counselor.
In 2015, Donna continued her education to become a Certified NES Health Bioenergetics Practitioner. With the NES Health Bioenergetics Wellness System, Donna can identify and then correct the priority distortions in her client’s energy field, which serves as a master control system for physiological function, allowing the body to begin to restore health on a cellular level. Donna furthered her quest to understand the principles of Chinese Medicine which the NES health system is based upon. This quest led to learning to cultivate her own chi energy field through daily Pangu Qigong practice, and use this cultivated energy to balance the flow of energy within her clients’ organ systems, their associated meridian pathways and their emotions.
Realizing that many of her clients were coming to her with chronic physical health conditions that were rooted in unresolved past emotional trauma, Donna set out to learn all she could about effective ways to help traumatized clients toward recovery.
Besides researching all topics health related, Donna spends her time on her passions for growing organic food, cooking, photography, quilting, hiking, camping and caring for her family.
